
Thomas Jeffrey Hanks (born July 9th, 1956) is an American actor and film maker. Famous for his dramatic and comedic roles, he's one of the most well-known and well-known film actors worldwide, and is regarded as an American famous cultural icon. Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was the son of Janet Marylyn, a hospital employee, as well as Amos Mefford Hanks (an itinerant chef). His mother, who was originally referred to as "Fraga", was part of a Portuguese family. His father, however, was predominantly English. Tom was born into the family of a "fractured family". He had no experience in acting at the college level and credits the failure to get a role in a college play with actually starting his career. He went downtown, and took part in a community production of a theater, and was then given an invitation by the director that play to go to Cleveland and then the beginning of his acting career took off.
