Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the time of 14. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. After that, she went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia is superior to Aspen as she beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's records as an amateur were damaged. Ladd returned from the defeat, beating Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her for a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission in the second round. Aspen defeated McGill in her wrestling, and eventually defeated her in the third round by TKO. Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy using an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make an appearance at the weigh-in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and eventually ended her fight with a TKO. In her last bout for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina, and used ground-and-pound to take the win via TKO in the second round. In her next fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round and got a performance of the night's prize. The first big fight she fought in was during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both the fighters put on a battle of back and forth that ended with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her losing streak. After a short break before returning to take on Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight.
