Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue The. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in theater, film and television. Aunjanue L. Ellis began her acting in the theatre. In later years, she was a part in television programs along with independent and mainstream films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. On BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. She did not only be praised by critics for her performance, but she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. She made her professional debut in the role of Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Her credits on stage include the Broadway show of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her roles in the films Men of Honor as well as The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. For her work on television she's been recognized for her performance as a regular character on ABC's police drama High Incident.
